The Mute Button

So, having 8 amazingly beautiful people living under one roof for almost 5 months now....and we are in the middle of spring break.....I'm often looking for the mute button! I've got my clothes washer and dryer muted, my phone is muted, and have been delightfully pleased to find that my microwave has a beeper on/off button!! How great is that?! I'll take all the 'stop beeping' I can get!

Life at this stage is loud, littles are needy...I'm needy...needy for quiet inside voices! Hahahah!

Marand and I were blessed by some church family with a date night last week and I found myself not quite sure how loud my voice was. I had to ask if my ear decibel level had been altered...was I yelling across the table at him? It was crazy to have only one person talking to me at a time!

Stages and Phases of life....I need to post this so I remembered 10 years from now, that I tried to 'enjoy' it! I truly am grateful...for my ears, and my mute buttons!! and for swinging weather!

Thanks for praying for us - Marand is 'in the market' for a new office....and it's looking like (Lord willing) this may happen....Eeeekkkkk.....just because we needed another leap of faith....We pray God is glorified in all we do - it's all His.

Isaiah 12:2 "Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and not be afraid; for the Lord JEHOVAH is my strength and my song; he also is become my salvation!"

Soooo happy that you had a date night! A well-deserved and quiet one, I might add. Love the pic on the swing. Rachel, you and Marand are amazing. Praying for God's continued blessing on your family.
